Are they dating or not?

Zac Efron and Taylor Swift finally speak up on their relationship but fans better hold up on their hopes because they aren't dating at all. Yet, it's hard not to assume that they aren't couple when they look amazing together, and in a recent episode on "Ellen" they sing together pretty well too.

Ellen DeGeneres squeezes the truth out of the "Zaylor" duo but lo and behold there was really nothing to squeeze out from both stars.The two talked and squashed a few dating rumors, and in turn broke hearts of a few dedicated "Zaylor" shippers.

"We are not a couple. He's awesome, we are not a couple though," says 22-year old, Taylor Swift.

"You hear people get together when they're shooting movies, co-stars. But not like animated co-stars. You know what I'm saying. Oh my god, as we were recording out voiceovers on separate coasts we really connected." added the award-winning country belle.

Taylor Swift also fondly recalls how she spent Valentine's Day, which was quite different from what a few sources were saying. Rumors circulated that she was with Zac Efron on heart's day.

The "unlucky girl in love", as Swift refers to herself, had spent Valentine's Day by herself where she had a "pathetic single girls party" and gorged on junk food to which Zac Efron enthusiastically replied.

"That's so different than what single guys do. I went to a screening of a film that I did called Liberal Arts. Then cooked some dinner with a friend," shared Zac about what he did on Valentine's Day.

The usual banter went down at "Ellen" but what Zac Efron and Taylor Swift did next was truly their moment that everyone wished they'd just date already.

Taylor who had successfully taught Zac to play the guitar ended up giving a show for the audience of "Ellen" and Zac strummed and sang along with her.

"Every, every time we come on this show," shared the "Zaylor" duo, "It's really weird, really weird - all because of Ellen!"
