Zayn Malik Unfollows Naughty Boy On Twitter, Friends Again With Louis Tomlinson
Shortly after Zayn Malik, 22, unfollowed Shahid Khan, 30, also known as Naughty Boy on Twitter, the latter also unfollowed the former One Direction member on the microblogging site. This is months after Malik’s cover of Rae Sremmurd’s “No Type” was leaked online.
In June, Naughty Boy told Capital FM that Malik was making a “very soulful record.” The English musician, songwriter, DJ, and record producer confirmed that the former One Direction singer has been writing new material and his upcoming album will be “worth the wait.”
During the interview, Naughty Boy has nothing but praises for Malik describing his voice as “ just amazing.” Working with singer-songwriters, the music producer said he just finds it difficult to work with people who do not have something to say. For him, Malik is an artist and is “his own man.”
“No one can tell Zayn what to do, especially me,” Naughty Boy remarked at the time. However, he has yet to comment on the on-going feud between him and Malik and the allegations that he was the one who leaked his Rae Sremmurd’s “No Type” cover.
Meanwhile, One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson, 23, recently appeared on “The Late Late Show with James Corden,” in which he revealed that he and Malik are already in good terms after their rift when the latter decided to leave their band in March.
According to Tomlinson, everything is “all good” as they have put the past behind them. He said he and Malik have spoken and are back to being best friends. On the other hand, Malik is expected to pursue a solo career and having him back in One Direction still seems to be very unlikely.
Signed with Simon Cowell’s record label Syco Records, One Direction was formed in 2010 during the seventh series of the British version of “The X Factor.” It was composed of solo male contestants Malik, Tomlinson, Harry Styles, 21, Liam Payne, 21, and Niall Horan, 21.
The last time Malik performed with Tomlinson, Styles, Payne and Horan in public was the One Direction’s show in Hong Kong on March 18 titled “On the Road Again Tour.” After Malik’s departure in March, One Direction still went on as a four-boy band.
