[UPDATE: This is why the Xbox One's Kinect is pretty useful.]
[UPDATE 2: 4 more problems found for the Xbox One. Includes smoking console and the so-called "TV judders."]
Just like the PS4, the Xbox One is not spared with console problems experienced by various users. And in some ways, a few of the problems are similar to ones that were enumerated for the PS4.
Check out the top five common problems that Xbox One consumers have experienced--and ones that you may also see when you start booting up and playing with your Xbox One console.
**Four more problems for the PS4 with their fixes: Read more here.
Green screen of death
If the PS4 had the Blinking Blue Light of Death, then the Xbox One has what is now dubbed to be the "Green Screen of Death".
This issue is identified by a freeze issue once Xbox One users reach the initial loading screen. DualShockers has found a video displaying the said issue, which you can watch in the link.
Another video, though shorter and really just a demonstration of the Green Screen of Death is from GunFunkGaming. You see that the initial loading screen is stuck on the green screen with an Xbox One Logo.
According to Furious Fanboys, the Green Screen of Death has not yet been commented upon by Microsoft, either as an official statement or even in forums in the official Xbox Support, so there are gamers who are stuck with not being able to play their Xbox One consoles at all.
**In the meantime, if you want to get away from console gaming, here are a few iOS games or fun Android games that you can check out, or if you have an iPhone 5 or iPod touch 5, you can get these controllers.
A bricked console
Another problem is the fact that the Day One update, which is required for the Xbox One to work, is actually a reason why other consoles have been bricked.
In a report from Sky News, it appears that there are a number of Xbox One users who are now ranting over social networking sites, in order to voice out their frustrations about a bricked console.
NowGamer adds that those who have bricked consoles get the E100 error code right after conducting the first-day download update. Consulting the Xbox Support for the Xbox One, it means that there had been an issue while updating the hardware. However, the worst part here is that the fix given-- the Xbox One user must submit and return the console for repair.
For those who don't want to give up just yet, NowGamer adds that there have been cases wherein the error had resolved itself with the update being installed successfully, though this may be a case-to-case basis at best.

Faulty disc drives
Similar to the PS4, Xbox One users are also experiencing some issues with the console's disc drive. However, for Microsoft's console, it appears to be more of a broken disc drive issue than having the drive unable to eject the disc.
IGN reports that there have been a number of reports stating that right after the midnight launch, cases of broken disc drives have been appearing for the Xbox One.

This can supposedly be identified as the inability to read the disc along with a clicking noise in the console and failure to install the game. Nevertheless, rest assured, for despite the noise in the console, the report states that the disc is not harmed in any way.
The problem has already been acknowledged by Microsoft, but it seems the only solution to the faulty drive would be a replacement for the Xbox One console. The statement does say that faulty drives are only found in some of the next-gen consoles.

FIFA 14 crash issues
If PS4 suffered mostly with Battlefield 4, another EA game, this time FIFA 14, is plaguing the Xbox One with crash issues.
A report from Videogamer has identified a statement from EA Sports, which had warned those who are using Xbox One players to keep away from having two controllers connected when booting the game, as this can be the cause of the crash. Just connect the other controller once you're already in the FIFA 14 menu.
**Xbox One add-ons: Speaking of controllers, Evil Controllers is featuring some ready-made nice-looking ones, as well as an upcoming feature to personalise your own. Read more here.
The promised update to fix the issue completely is said to have been released by EA, in order to appease those who have been frustrated by the crash issue. Additionally, there are a few things that gamers should take note of when using the update to avoid more hiccups. Check out EA's official statement and page for the launch notes.
Issues with online services
At launch, Xbox One users had experienced downtime with its online service including the official website, Microsoft.com, and even Office 365 due to DNS failure and other error messages.
The Guardian reports that this issue has been resolved, though the cause for the problem has not yet been identified.
**Gaming News: Why you should stick to the PS3 or Xbox 360 if you want to enjoy playing Batman: Arkham Origins.
"We can confirm that these issues were not caused by Windows Azure. We will keep our consumers updated as information becomes available," according to the official Microsoft statement in an interview quoted by The Guardian.
"The service interruption that affected Windows Azure Storage was a separate issue and has been resolved. All Windows Azure services are running as normal."
Hopefully, this will not see a repeat anytime soon, considering that failure issues could cause outages for the Xbox One's online platform and can cause intermittent timeouts when it comes to the storage online.
