Adam Rose, Emma And 'The Ascension' Rise To ‘WWE 2K15’ In NXT DLC
NXT has taken the wrestling world by storm. Considered to be the development territory of the WWE, NXT has managed to garner its own fan base due to the territory’s straightforward storytelling, compelling characters and excellent use of female wrestlers. Soon, fans will be able to play as certain superstars who’ve hit the main roster, but made their names in NXT, through the NXT Arrival pack that is coming to “WWE 2K15.”
The NXT Arrival pack was announced last October in the main WWE 2K site, along with the rest of the DLC. However, an image from the WWE 2K Facebook page has confirmed that the NXT Arrival pack will be hitting “WWE 2K15” in March 10 and will feature superstars who were in NXT at the time, but have since moved to the main roster. These names include superstar Adam Rose, female wrestler Emma and dominating tag team The Ascension.
Formerly using the handle Leo Kruger in NXT, he was repackaged as Adam Rose and instantly made a name for himself thanks to his outrageous entrance that involves various partygoers called “rose buds” accompanying him to the ring. Developer 2K also confirmed that his most famous rode bud, “The Bunny,” would be part of his entrance in the game in a Twitter Q and A.
Emma made her main roster debut as an ally for comedy act Santino Marella, but was considered as one of the top female wrestlers during her time in NXT. She battled Paige for the NXT Women’s Championship in NXT Arrival, but came up short, though she did look impressive in defeat. While considered a main roster diva, Emma has started making appearances in NXT again.
The Ascension is a tag team comprised of Connor and Victor. Before debuting in the main roster, these two were the longest reigning NXT Tag Team champions and destroyed plenty of teams who crossed their paths. After dropping the titles to the Lucha Dragons and feuding with Hideo Itami and Fin Balor, the team made their main roster debut. They scored a big victory against the New Age Outlaws in the Royal Rumble.
Oddly enough, JBL will also be part of the NXT Arrival pack. The former WWE Champion was the second manager for NXT, taking over for Dusty Rhodes before William Regal was recently given the role. The NXT Arrival pack will hit “WWE 2K15” on March 10 and can be purchased for $6.99. Unlike the showcase storylines, this pack will not be a part of the “WWE 2K15” season pass.
