All 'Final Fantasy VII' trophies revealed for PlayStation 4
Fans looking forward to achieving plenty of success in the upcoming “Final Fantasy VII” PS4 port are about to hear some interesting news, as Exophase has announced a number of the game’s trophies. While the game doesn’t have an official release date or a price, the revelation of the game’s trophies indicates that it could be coming soon.
Some of the trophies are fairly easy to get, like winning the first battle or performing a limit break, while others are slightly more challenging. One of the more interesting moments of the game was getting Don Corneo to choose a female dressed Cloud over two other women in a section of the story and if the player succeeds in this version, he or she gets a trophy for their troubles.
There are also some rather surprising ways to get a trophy. One of them involves the whole party falling in battle, which is usually something most fans would rather avoid. Some trophies are also fairly humorous, like taking Barret to the Golden Saucer location for a “Bromance” related trophy, as covered by Gematsu.
Hardcore players who want to get all the trophies will have 32 to collect overall. It’s not yet clear if there are any hidden trophies for doing certain aspects in the game, which should provide some extra fun for the fans.
This isn’t the full-blown remake that blew minds back in the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), but is actually the PC port coming to PS4. This version of the game has slightly sharper textures than the original hit roleplaying game (RPG) that came out on the original PlayStation.
All three discs will be in the port already so fans won’t have to switch CDs after reaching a certain point in the story. It’s an interesting way to show how far technology has improved over the years.
This port of “Final Fantasy VII” is slated for a winter release date, but no official date has been mentioned as of this writing. The remake of the game currently doesn’t have a release date either, but it will be coming to the PS4 first before it heads to other consoles.
