All ‘Need for Speed’ cars unveiled, no transactions coming to game
“Need for Speed” will bring in a great mix of car models and brands for its latest reboot. Developer Ghost Games is bringing 51 cars from popular manufacturers and automobile companies including BMW, Toyota, Ferrari, Porsche, Acura, Nissan, Dodge and many more.
The game includes every top-notch car from leading automobile manufacturers including the Chevrolet Camaro Z06, Dodge SRT Viper, Lamborghini Murciélago LP 670-4 SV, Porsche 911 GT3 RS and Ferrari F40. The complete list of cars for the game is available at the official website.
The new “Need for Speed” from Ghost Games will allow complete customisation of each car. From visual modification like changing tires, callipers and brake discs to changing rims and headlights, the game allows the player to customise every part of the car. For easier setup, it also includes body kits, a selection of pre-set modifications which includes everything from side skirts to spoilers.
In terms of performance, components like air filter, cooling system, fuel system and electric system can be customised extensively. ECU, Nitrous Boosts can also be upgraded over time.
Unlike every current game that includes microtransactions, the latest “Need for Speed” from Ghost Games won’t be having micro transactions or paid DLCs, as reported by Gamespot. The developer also has plans to provide “free content updates” throughout the game’s lifespan.
Ghost Games is giving a full makeover to the new “Need for Speed.” This is evident in the way that Electronic Arts opted to skip a release in 2014, making the racing game the first in the series after two years. The game will be available on Nov. 3 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One while PC gamers will need to wait until 2016 for its release.
