Anderson Silva wants UFC Featherweight champion Jose Aldo to hit Conor McGregor a lot at the upcoming UFC 185 in May. Silva thinks that he has the experience to talk about the next fight of Jose Aldo and Conor McGregor as he knows how it feels to be the target of a trash talker.

"Aldo said what we needed to hear,” Silva said. “He's the king, Chad Mendes is the prince and McGregor is the joker. Enough said. I think that McGregor is a cool guy but Aldo is a lot cooler. Aldo is my brother until I die. Hit him a lot, Aldo. Please, do it. Hit him a lot."

Anderson Silva doesn’t see how the Irishman can win his upcoming fight with Jose Aldo. He said that it is impossible to compare the two and McGregor has no condition to face Aldo.

Meanwhile, the former UFC middleweight champion, who does not want to fight Brazilians, is disappointed that some fighters who are close to him do not share the same sentiments. On Thursday, Silva expressed his frustration with Lyoto Machida and Ronaldo Souza for their comments about a possible fight with him. Unlike him, Silva revealed that although Machida and Souza are his friends, they are open to fighting him, albeit reluctantly.

When asked if he is okay with what his friends said, Silva was not too happy. He said that it bothers him because he trains with Machida and Souza and he puts 50 per cent energy to them the two. He expressed that he is deeply disappointed. According to UFC President, Dana White, if Silva gets through Nick Diaz at the UFC 183 on January 31, in Las Vegas, he will have a shot at the strap again. Although Silva was quite adamant in the past that earning a title is not his objective anymore, he claimed that he will fulfil his duty and fight for the belt. Silva said that as a part of the UFC family, it is his duty to comply with Dana White.
