After the launch of the dual-boot Android-Windows Asus Transformer Book Duet at the CES 2014, Asus seems to be cooking another Android-powered device in its kitchen.

The Taiwan based company is set to launch another device as a new Asus tablet hit the Internet realm recently. An Android-powered tablet, known as Asus Transformer Pad TF502T, is rumored for release soon. This tablet is pretty similar to the VivoTab RT TF600T according to design and specs.

This reported Asus tablet measures 8.3 mm thin with 10.1 inches Super IPS+ 1366 x 768 pixels resolution display, which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. Also, the Asus Transformer Pad TF502T is powered by Nividia Tegra 3 quad-core processor ARM Cortex 9, 1.3 GHz with 2GB of RAM and Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean OS.

The next tablet from the maker of Padfone also sports a pretty impressive 8 MP sensor rear camera, 32 GB of internal storage with another 32 GB of Asus WebStorage space for 3 years and Bluetooth 4.0. The tablet comes in three versions, namely: NFC, 3G and WiFi-only.

Also, the tablet comes with a keyboard dock but there is still no detail about the battery life and other features. The price is not yet determined but the Windows counterpart is currently priced at $299.99 on Amazon, so the Android version, considering the similar specs and features, must be priced at that range.

The Transformer Pad TF502T is already listed on the Taiwanese Asus Web site but it is not yet available in the market. There are still no announcements regarding the launch and release dates of the new tablet. However, the tablet has already been given the green signal by the Bluetooth SIG in December so do not expect to wait too long before the tablet hits the shelves. We might see the tablet launch at the MWC 2014 in February in Barcelona, Spain.
