‘Assassin’s Creed Unity’ Interactive Website Features Paris Tour, Season Pass Boasts Loads Of Content
Ubisoft has finally revealed the contents of the Season Pass for "Assassin's Creed Unity." With the pass comes a number of missions, content, skills, gears and most notably, a new game.
Announced via the Ubisoft Blog, the season pass will reel in eight hours of new content, starting with giving access to upcoming DLCs for "Assassin's Creed Unity." The Dead Kings Campaign will be the first one, but for those who want to experience the franchise in an Asian land like China, you can also gain access to the "Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China." This is a new game that will come early in 2015.
The "Assassin's Creed Unity" season pass will be out for $29.99. However, preorders come with a bonus of a double-handed war axe as an exclusive prize plus the launch-day Fleur de Lys Sword. On top of all of this, three more missions will be included in the Season Pass, with obtainable weapons and skills that can be carried over to the main game and the Dead Kings missions.
Basically, the Dead Kings campaign looks into the city of Saint Denis in "Assassin's Creed Unity." You'll be solving puzzles and wandering the streets and the catacombs underneath.
In "Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China," you have Shao Jun from the "Assassin's Creed Embers" animated movie. This will bring a brand new world, where martial arts will play a major role in the overall combat. More details are expected later on.
Besides the Season Pass for "Assassin's Creed Unity," Ubisoft has also announced a website that will give players a glimpse of Paris at the time of the game. Touted as an interactive website that boasts historical information about the city, players can explore the world before "Assassin's Creed Unity" is released.
GameSpot compares the interactive website to the way Google Street View operates. The buildings contain information about them as you explore, so you'll get to understand more what Paris is like in "Assassin's Creed Unity."
This gimmick is also a way for players to already see what's hidden in the world of "Assassin's Creed Unity," which can include hot locations and even art pieces. There's also a few YouTube videos that can be viewed along the way as you explore.
The interactive Web site can be accessed in this link. Best to explore the world of "Assassin's Creed Unity" before you delve into the actual game. it pays to know what you're dealing with before diving headfirst.
