‘Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’ Exo Survival Mode Shown Off, New Achievements and GameStop Events Revealed

'Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare's' co-op mode looks very futuristic and challenging. Revealed by Activision, the new ode is called 'Exo Survival' and it will pit you against soldiers, drones and machines.

IGN has gotten its hands first on Exo Survival mode and despite comparisons made to other franchises--'Halo' and 'Gears of War 2'--the mode offered some trademark components of its own.

For starters, it can have anywhere between one to four players and you'll be playing in multiplayer maps that will be rotating to give you four tiers of plays. But instead of anticipating an even stronger opponent at the end of the wave, you run into objectives that you need to complete. Otherwise, you will suffer a number of consequences.

Best of all, those who want to keep on playing can revive a fallen comrade before they die. Progression-wise, this is reportedly a good mode to keep checking out and playing so you can see your character upgraded with more EXO gear.

GameStop Event For Sept. 27 Detailed

Ramping up gamers' excitement for Sledgehammer Games' of the upcoming 'Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare,' a Sept. 27 event was announced by GameStop. This event will be available for all its retail stores in the U.S.

Charlie Intel has gotten word of the event that will allow player who will make a purchase for any 'Call of Duty' item to get an exclusive poster. There's a bonus for PowerUp members, as they will be entitled to 30% extra for trade-ins for preorders for the 'Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare' preorders.

As the GameStop promotion poster reads in the link above, here are some of the bonuses that you can get:

- Hour Early access to take advantage of offers and see a private screening of 'Call of Duty' video content, including an exclusive message from Michael Condrey and Glen Schofield, the creators of 'Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.'

- Exclusive poster with any 'Call of Duty' purchase

- Triple your PowerUp Rewards Pro trade bonus on any games traded toward 'Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.'

Achievements For Exo Survival Mode Listed

With the reveal of the new mode for 'Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare,' the remaining achievements linked to the new mode were revealed. IGN's listing for the achievements and trophies were finally completed to include the five following additions:

- Exo Survival Veteran: Play 50 Exo Survival Matches.

- Exo Survivor: Successfully Complete Exo Survival bonus Wave, attainable only via Riot.

- Class Warfare: Play for 30 minutes with each class.

- Exp Flip: Flip a map.

- Flip Flop: Flip a map twice.
