‘Assassin’s Creed Unity’ Looks At Grand Livestream Launch With Free DLC; Latest Trailer Explores Four-Player Co-op
Ubisoft seems to be aiming big for "Assassin's Creed Unity." Beyond incorporating new multiplayer features and going back to the basics of the AC franchise, it's even planning on making a record come Nov. 7.
DualShockers reports that Ubisoft will hold a twitch livestream for "Assassin's Creed Unity." It will be the biggest launch event documented on a livestream as far as Ubisoft's history is concerned.
The source adds that the livestream will provide fans with a first glimpse of "Assassin's Creed Unity" as well as interviews from the creators of the title. There will also be some gameplay previews via some YouTube personalities.
Those who can RSVP to be at the livestream (which can be done via this link) will also get the American Prisoner Pack for free. The DLC addition provides the following items:
- American Prisoner Mission: Here you need to liberate Thomas Paine and recover his historic manuscripts.
- Master Assassin Hood: Strengthen Arno with increased health points.
- Arno's French Rapier: the ideal weapon for a skilled swordsman
- Parade Pistol: precision and advanced range capabilities, all in one weapon
There's one more way to celebrate the upcoming "Assassin's Creed Unity," and it can be with this brand new trailer recently released by Ubisoft. Given that the game will be released after the weekend, the latest trailer is one that encompasses all, as aptly titled the "Assassin's Creed Unity 101" trailer.
There's still much to see in this new video even for those who have already seen and re-watched the previous trailers. Fans can check out the historical characters they'll be encountering as Arno in the game; they can see once more the new co-op mode that will make its debut with "Assassin's Creed Unity"; and best of all, they can see just how far the next-gen console technology has allowed the developer to take the game. It will also touch on the time anomaly that was just recently teased. All of this happens with Paris as the background.
As a last reminder for those who may be playing "Assassin's Creed Unity" on the PC: those in the UK may want to find a different source if they are used to downloading via Steam. According to PCGamesN, "Assassin's Creed Unity," together with "Far Cry 4" and "The Crew," will not be available at launch on Steam. There are still other digital retailers that will carry the three titles, and there's always UPlay, which is straight from Ubisoft.
