If the recent report is confirmed, it seemed not only will Doomsday be battling the heroes in “Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.” Lex Luthor will reportedly also don on his warsuit in the film as he too will be fighting both Superman and Batman.

JoBlo cited a “very trusted and reliable source” who claimed that Lex Luthor, played by Jesse Eisenberg, will not only play as the main villain, but will also suit up in his iconic green/purple warsuit to battle both Superman and Batman. “That's right, we will finally be seeing Lex don the armor he's worn for decades in the comics and various animated series/films,” writer Paul Shirley said.

The site also revealed some details as to how Lex Luthor’s warsuit in “Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice” will look like. “Our source says it will be very much like the many variations we've seen in the past and will obviously fit the style and look of the film (and DCCU films in general),” Shirley revealed.

According to Movieweb, Jesse Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor warsuit in “Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice” is very similar to the many variations of the character’s suit in the comics. However, it’s uncertain how long the actor will don on his character’s trademark suit in the film. Sources for JoBlo said he will wear the costume for “at least part of the film.” No specific details were provided and it’s also unclear if Eisenberg will don on the warsuit only in the film’s finale. But the mention of the warsuit is supposedly enough to tease fans of an epic battle between Lex Luthor and the two heroes.

It would be interesting to see Jesse Eisenberg dressed up in an entirely different costume aside from his character’s iconic business look of suit and tie. It would reportedly be great to also see Lex Luthor get his hands dirty in “Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice” to properly portray the menacing villain in the DC comics. Perhaps Lex donning on his warsuit is what Zack Snyder was referring to when he assured that the villain in the film will not be like “any of the Lexes that you’ve seen.”
