‘Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice' Video Reveals 'Interesting New Details’ On The Batsuit
Following the trailer, another video has been released for “Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.” This time it gives fans a better look at the Batsuit as well as a detailed look at the caped crusader’s Batmobile.
The video was initially shared by Bleacher Report on its site, where it shows NBA star and avid Batman fan DeAndre Jordan given a free tour around the Batman Exhibit at the Warner Bros. VIP Studio Tour in Hollywood. Jordan’s sightseeing gave fans a better and detailed look at the batmobile and also provided a better look at the characters’ costumes.
According to Comicbookmovie, the video showed some “interesting new details” about Batman’s (Ben Affleck) Batsuit. The site did not provide any further details. But clearly in the video it shows Batsuit's arm gloves having some spikes running along its side. Likewise, according to Tech Times Batman’s suit looks different and far better than its predecessors. Its texture is believed to be made from carbon fibre or possibly graphene.
The first official trailer released for “Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice” reportedly also revealed the Batsuit having different colours. A SuperHeroHype user named “Vigilant” supposedly tweaked a screen cap of Ben Affleck on his Batsuit and came up with a photo edit that revealed varying colours among the different parts of the suit. The chest and arm part of the Batsuit supposedly have the gray colour, while the cowl, cape, gloves and bat logo appeared to be all black.
Batman’s costume supposedly looks similar to the armoured Batsuit Bruce Wayne wore in his fight against Superman in the comics. The site added that the Batsuit in “Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice” seemed to be inspired by Frank Miller’s version of the caped crusader’s costume in “The Dark Knight Returns.”
According to Cult of Mac, it’s likely that Jony Ive was responsible in designing the Batsuit in “Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.” The armoured suit, complete with its mask of glowing white eyes, reportedly looks heavy and thick. Likewise, Tech Times claimed it may be possible for the cowl’s throat to contain some form of voice distortion technology. The trailer supposedly revealed an electronically distorted Batman voice, which according to the site could have been produced from a hidden cowl technology.
