Best Buy drops Apple Watch prices to $249
This time you save more on all Apple Watch models
With only a couple of weeks left for Christmas, Best Buy dropped Apple Watch prices to $249 (AU$ 341) for 32 mm bands and $299 (AU$410) for 42 mm bands. This means you can save $100 (AU$410) on Apple Watches and the Apple Watch Sport model from the online store.
Best Buy offered a similar $100 (AU$137) price cut on high-end Apple Watches but lower discounts on Apple Watch Sport models during the Black Friday promotion last month. This time you save more on all Apple Watch models, reports The Verge. The offer is available for a limited time and is aimed at frugal shoppers.
You pay $649 (AU$890) as the regular price for the 32 mm Apple Watch band and a whopping $699 (AU$958) for the 42 mm band at the Apple Stores.
AppleInsider partner B&H also offers the Apple Watches at $50 (AU$68) price-off along with a $50 B&H gift card given free on each purchase. It means more savings for the Christmas season.
The biggest advantage of buying from B&H is that customers outside New York won’t have to pay sales tax, and nothing for shipping services. Have a glimpse at the full list of discounts here.
A reminder: you can purchase Apple watches from brick-and-mortar Best Buy locations at huge discounts via the Apple Pay app offered on Discover Card’s Apple Pay promotion. The promotion ends this year, so hurry before time runs out.
Note that you can avail the discounts only from Best Buy stores with Apple Pay services. Remember, Discover Card Apple Pay promotion is not applicable online, so avoid purchasing Apple Watches using the promotional offer.
Indeed, the discounts sound enticing for the holiday season, but it won’t be long before the company introduces a second version of the watch, Apple Watch 2, rumoured to be launched at an event in March next year.
