Call of Duty: Ghosts Multiplayer Reveal in August, Skyrim Trading Cards Now Available, Slender Man Game Faceless Postponed
There's more to come for the upcoming next-gen and current gen game Call of Duty: Ghosts as its multiplayer is finally announced to be revealed come August.
Mark Rubin, the executive producer at Infinity Ward, has tweeted, "Sorry I haven't been on Twitter much lately. We are in our death march push to finish game. Lots left to do. Looking forward to MP in August."
This is just one of the features that gamers can look forward to, as VG 24/7 adds that previous reports related to the game have also hinted at a dynamic feature into the multiplayer.
Better preorder the game now, as a Free Fall map will be part of the incentive package, when the game is released on November 5 for current gen Xbox 360 and PS3, next-gen PS4 and Xbox One, and PC.
Skyrim Steam trading cards now out
Skyrim is definitely not yet dead, as Steam releases collectible trading cards that are the best way to make you go back into the game for more wandering.
In Bethesda's blog, it announced that you can unlock Skyrim-specific trading cards just by playing the game again. But if you want to collect them all, the developer states that this is not as easy, and may require you to trade cards with your Steam buddies in order to collect them all.
Completing the cards also allow you to unlock Skyrim-specific badges, backgrounds, and emoticons for starters.
Joystiq adds that the Skyrim Legendary Edition is being offered at a 40% discount as part of Steam's Community Choice vote for its summer sale--so if you are planning to play Skyrim again for the trading cards, the legendary edition sale is also a great way to reason to buy it now.
Faceless, Slender Man game, going into hiatus
Those who have been waiting Faceless, the mod for Half Life 2, will have to wait for a longer period of time, as it will be going into a partial reboot and a hiatus, due to internal complications.
The road has not been easy for Ethereal Entertainment, the developers behind the project. First came the legal complications of the mod with the Slender Man IP itself hence its lack of Steam Greenlight, but afterwards, it finally got a spot on Steam, reports Gaming4u.
However, with some of the developers having to leave for undisclosed reasons, and with the developers still looking for an AI programmer that can take over the project, it seems that there is a lot to do before it finally becomes available for the masses.
"We just couldn't go into a hiatus without letting anybody know; it had to be announced," said Adam Sklar, lead promotional designer for Faceless, to Gaming4u. "We didn't want to leave you hanging and never finding out about what's happening with the mod."
"Myself in particular have always wanted to be open and honest about everything in relation to Faceless, so that's why I'm still here today to try and get it complete."
At the very least, there is some progress with the project, but the report has also quoted Sklar asking investors if they want to leave the money with developers, or if they want to retract it following all that has been happening.
For the sake of those who have been waiting for the game, let's hope that the mod will push through after the hiatus.
