While Robert Pattinson was preparing for on location shoot in Toronto, Canada, his former sweetheart Kristen Stewart was training for her new film, Camp X-Ray. And the Speak star, known for her rock-chic style, fits in perfectly for her new role as she rocks hard in military uniform.

In Camp X-Ray, Kristen plays the role of a soldier assigned in Guantanamo Bay. With Kristen in the lead role in Peter Sattler’s drama film. The story focuses on the life of “a young soldier (who) escapes her suffocating small town by joining the military, only to find that she isn't going for a tour of duty in Iraq as she hoped.”

But things, didn’t go as planned, because Kristen ‘s character, Cole, was sent to Guantanamo instead.

At Guantanamo, Kristen met and befriended a young prisoner who has been detained at the camp for years. The conflict revolves around this new friendship as the young soldier is met with hatred and abuse from the Muslim men in her command.

Joining Kristen in the cast for the drama film are Lane Garrison (Randy), Joseph Julian Soria (Rico), Peyman Moaadi (Ali), Tara Hold (Mary), Yousuf Azami (Ehan) and Marco Khan (Mahmoud).

The film by Gotham Group and Upload Films is rumoured to be released in 2014. It is written by Peter Sattler. More scenes will be shot in Los Angeles, California.

The actress had been snapped a bit uncomfortable with her oversized military uniform and looked like she could not wait to take them off and grab a bottle of beer and light a cigarette.

Meanwhile, Kristen’s British ex had already landed in Toronto, Canada, to film his new project with David Cronenberg, Maps to the Stars. He joined big stars, including John Cusack and Julianne Moore. The actor has recently been linked to his new co-star, Sarah Gordon. But reports claim, Rob is focusing more in his work.
