Grand Theft Auto 5 is one of the much-awaited games, and it will be here in less than a month's time.
But recently, a number of leaks on the gameplay have been circulating the web, with Sony Europe having been revealed as the one responsible. If you are not one of those who have downloaded the digital pre-order of the GTA V game, then you may not have accessed some of the information and media.
Worry not, as Rockstar Games has promised that here will be more details delivered to the fans before the game is launched, and this time, it will be straight from the source.
The latest new information via Rockstar Games newswire involves more details and screenshots, this time for the Special and Collector's Edition Digital Content of the game.
Special and Collector's Editions feature customisations galore
The two editions grant you access to several enhancements and accessories for the three main characters, Franklin, Michael, and Trevor, when playing GTA Online.
Some of the additional customisations include more weapons like the .50 Caliber Pistol, the Bullpup Shotgun, and the Hammer.
Ramp up the edginess of your character with tattoos and outfits, as you will get 20% special discounts and items when you go to the shops in Los Santos and Blaine County. You already have a free outfit each, with one article of clothing, and a tattoo.
Unique challenges are also available to allow you to explore Los Santos and Blaine County at your own pace. The five challenges will take you through almost all the terrains in GTA 5, improve your piloting skill, and let you compete in the leaderboards.
Lastly, a special ability boost is also in place, and each of the protagonists has a Special Ability, which can be accessed once you fill up the Special Ability bar. The abilities include Michael as an expert marksman, Franklin as an expert driver, and Trevor as a rage-driven damage machine. The upside for those with the Special or Collector's Edition is that you can generate the Special Ability 25% faster compared to others.
Collector's Edition: All that plus two more
The Collector's Edition has a few more exclusive features, including a character creation feature. This allows you to choose your own heritage and factor in some magic of science by dialing in which gene you want to dominate your gene pool to control how you look like.
Customisation also trickles into the daily activities. Of course, what you choose to do will have an impact on your overall appearance and skill set--be a couch potato forever eating junk food will always change your looks, no matter how great the gene pool you chose from is.
According to Rockstar Games, you can get Niko Bellic, Claude, and Misty from GTA 3 as parent options in the character creation process.
Also available only for the Collector's Edition is the unique vehicles and an exclusive garage, where you can store your custom vehicles.GTA Online allows you to use your character's phone to purchase your garage and cars.
