It’s been confirmed that the new Peter Parker a.k.a. Spider-Man will make his cameo appearance in “Captain America: Civil War,” before he stars in his own film in the “Spider-Man” reboot. However, “Daredevil” star Charlie Cox recently teased the character’s presence in Season 2 of the TV series.

Charlie Cox brought up Spider-Man’s name during an interview with Screen Rant about the possible cameo characters in Season 2 of “Daredevil.” When pressed for details, Cox remained candid but shared what he thought would be the best comic book stories to see come alive.

“I love it when Spider-Man pops up, and there’s one great issue where Matt Murdock has to defend Daredevil and so Peter Parker puts on his suit for him so he can sit in the dock,” he said. "Other than that, I'd like Elektra to turn up,” he added.

It’s still uncertain what “Daredevil” has in store for its Season 2. The Netflix series reportedly just recently got its greenlight for another season. According to HNGN, it’s also unlikely for Spider-Man to make a cameo appearance in the new season, considering the Marvel character is a blockbuster film property.

However, Screen Rrant writer H. Shaw-Williams said there may be a possibility that Peter Parker a.k.a. Spider-Man could end up appearing in “Daredevil.” After all, the web slinger is set to become a member of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, if ever Spider-Man does cameo in the series, it may supposedly not be as early as Season 2.

Spider-Man is set to debut in “Captain America: Civil War” in May 6, 2016 before he stars in the “Spider-Man” reboot slated for July 28, 2017. The web slinger’s cameo in “Civil War” is a done deal as it was previously confirmed by insiders to The Wall Street Journal.

While the web slinger’s cameo appearance in “Daredevil” remains uncertain, Screen Rant claims it’s possible the story could go the other way around. Instead of Spider-Man appearing in the series, it could be Daredevil and The Defenders having their cameo in the “Spider-Man” reboot. The latter is rumoured to have been given the working title of “Spider-Man: The New Avenger.”
