Just yesterday, "Destiny" players encountered what they had thought to be the improved Iron Banner event that was previously promised by Bungie. However, just a few hours into the event, they pulled it out along with all the bounties, the Tower area and Lord Saladin.

However, players did get to glimpse the bounties available for the "Destiny" Iron Banner event and VG 24/7 has listed it down to include the following:

- Anvil of Light: Kill 50 guardians with IB emblem, shader and class item equipped

- Iron Embrace: 20 melee kills

- Rise Above: Finish with the highest score

- Exacting Measures: 15 headshot sprees

- Chaos and the Calm: 30 machine gun headshot kills

- Heavy Metal: 15 machine gun sprees

However, Gamerant also reports that Bungie has acknowledged the live release and pulling out of the Iron Banner event. According to the source, Bungie has already updated fans, stating that the release of the Iron Banner event was accidental and what was seen there was the old version.

Still, this did not happen quietly or without incident, as "Destiny" players who managed to see the Iron Banner event also saw that their reputation has been reset to zero. Naturally, fans have taken the matter online, specifically on Reddit. In this post, some fans are not only flipping out on the reset of the reputation, they have even started to feel that Bungie is encountering a lot of hiccups with "Destiny."

"This quite simply is not the Bungie from the past 20 or so years... This 'new' Bungie doesn't deserve the name," said Redditor shadowxshark.

"Ok so it's pretty much the same exact piece of crap event as last time. No point in even playing it at all," said Redditor MrBOFH.

The main argument of "Destiny" fans is that most of them were expecting the reputation reset after the next Iron Banner event. Redditor Baconwich cites the last Bungie update, where the reset was mentioned specifically.

"In the next Iron Banner, you will still have the Rank achieved in the last... in future Iron Banners, we will change over from Reputation to an Event Standing model where ranks are reset, but only after we better tune the effort required to reach the higher ranks," said Bungie.

For an added bonus, "Destiny" players may want to peek into their email, as a surprise may be waiting. Game Informer received a n email that features a special gift from developer Bungie.

"The Tower Factions have recognized your contribution to Humanity's struggle. To help you continue your fight beyond Level 20, their emissaries have issued you a piece of Legendary Armor," said the email sample.

If you happen to receive this email, you should log into "Destiny" and go to the postmaster to get your gift so you can go beyond level 20 and go on battling. If anything, this is just in time for the upcoming The Dark Below DLC coming in by December 9.
