Rejoice Galaxy Note 2 subscribers! The T-Mobile carrier has confirmed they will provide a fast 4G LTE network support after conducting a major software upgrade that stands to benefit Galaxy Note 2 subscribers.

The telecommunications company announced that the schedule of its LTE service regions going live will begin by the end of March 2013.

The software upgrade for an enhanced 4G LTE coverage shows the commitment of T-Mobile to its customers. The upgrade is called a Maintenance Release (MR) that will enable all of the speed that a fast 4G LTE has inside the tool kit.

T-Mobile released a support document on Monday stating that the company is currently working on the over-the-air (OTA) update for the Galaxy Note 2. However, T-Mobile did not confirm where exactly the LTE network will appear first.

Customers can acquire the software update with the use of the Samsung Kies program through a PC. The latest software will provide the 5.5-inch smart phone up to the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean Update with enabled support for the carrier's LTE network as well.

Currently, T-Mobile is struggling and moving quickly with the enabling of the LTE service as well as its rollout to compete with the rival networks. AT&T and Verizon began their LTE network upgrade a few years back with T-Mobile just setting up the HSPA+ capabilities instead.

In areas that do not have the T-Mobile LTE coverage, most of devices would work with the HSPA+ 42 which is a service almost as fast as the LTE support depending on the location.

T-Mobile projects that its LTE infrastructure will provide service "in the vast majority of the top 50 markets and 20 MHz service in 75 percent of the top 25 markets." New York City is reportedly included among the first of the new LTE markets list joined by Las Vegas and Kansas City.

T-Mobile's main goal is to supply the subscribers with a faster wireless data pipe since they could be easily swayed with the offered LTE support of rival network companies like AT&T and Verizon.
