Japan's Sony Corp is hammering out plans to rise from the ashes of nearly $10 billion lost in six years by building a future around its last consumer electronics blockbuster - the PlayStation. Sony plans to reposition the video console warhorse as a hub for a network of streamed services, according to three senior officials, offering social media, movies and music as well as games. The PS4 is getting a number of new game title announcements a few days before the actual Tokyo Game Show 2014 launches. With the early announcements and press conferences that Sony is showcasing, there are a few titles that have already been announced for the company's next-gen console.

Whether it's a release later this year or one that's slated for a vague "2015" launch, the PS4 is looking at more games added to its list, and some of them are among the most awaited tiles to hit the console.

'Persona 5' With Trailer Teased

Those who have been keeping up with Altus' title "Persona 5," fans have already known that the game will come out for the PS3. But it seems that more PlayStation owners will be happy considering that the game publisher has announced that it will also be seeing release for the PS4 platform.

Metro reports that "Persona 5" will be coming in 2015, with little detail given in the trailer seen below. The real progress with the title is that this announcement seems to be a confirmation that it will be delayed for a bit on the PS3 platform, but with the assurance that PS4 players will also get to enjoy playing it.

Joystiq adds that "Persona 5" has already been confirmed for North America, though more details may be expected come TGS 2014.

October Debuts 'Peggle 2' On The PS4

"Peggle 2" was first announced for the Xbox platforms, but the exclusivity for the Microsoft console will soon be ending as PopCap Games announced the PS4 version of the title.

Slated for release on Oct. 4, "Peggle 2" already has an official box art for the PS4 version and Polygon reports that this could be a sign pointing to a physical release of the title.

EA has yet to confirm whether the downloadable Peggle Masters that have been released for the Xbox One and Xbox 360 versions will also be made available for the PS4 version.

'Gundam' Game Scheduled For 2015

Namco Bandai was one of the developers that also took the stage during Sony's pre-TGS press conference. And it was here that they revealed the 2015 debut of a new "Gundam" title coming to the PS4.

DualShockers reports that the game is already being developed for the PS4, which can mean that it will release as an exclusive title. However this has yet to be confirmed by Sony, as there are no other details given in terms of a definitive release date or story line.
