'GTA 5' PC Hinted Again, Easter Egg Map Revealed; GTA iFruit Patched
"GTA 5" has been breaking records for the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game, but it has also been breaking the hearts of those who have been hoping for a PC release.
But as though hope is not yet lost, leaks and speculations pointing to the possibility of a PC version, complete with a release date, has been teased to fans.
NowGamer reports that Komplett, a Norwegian retailer, has posted a PC version of "GTA 5." Furthermore, a March 18, 2014 date has been tagged with the leak, though it's not clear if this is merely a placeholder.
Rockstar Games has not confirmed the PC version of "GTA 5." But given the timeline for the release date of other "Grand Theft Auto" has the PC version released later than the console version, it is not entirely possible.
The developers, on the other hand, had been very adamant in stating that they can only announce the release dates for the Xbox 360 and PS3.
Still, this hasn't stopped a lot of people from trying to crack their way into the system and found codes that point to a PC and even a PS4 version.
Easter Egg Map Point to UFOs in 'GTA 5'
Gameranx has found an interesting Easter Egg map via Reddit inside "GTA 5." According to the report, the map points to an Illuminati-like group that is on the hunt for Unidentified Flying Objects or UFOs.
Overlaying this map with another one found in Mt. Chiliad allows you to discover the goodies linked to the UFOs. Check out the image of the map below:
What's more, the map gives away some of the hidden location of packages in the ocean. However, one Reddit user has commented that for those who are trying to find hidden packages, the finds may not replicate if you are using another character to find it.
One user has stated that it can even be a collaborative effort, wherein you can switch between the three main heroes while finding a different scrap apiece. But it seems that you can only collect the hidden items once, regardless of switching characters.
