Halo 5 Confirmed for 2014, Pokemon X and Y is Nintendo’s Hope; Dead Rising 3 Goes Scary in New Trailer [VIDEO]
For those who have been kept a watchful eye all throughout the E3, Halo fans were disappointed when they learned that the trailer that was teased for the Xbox One was not the much-awaited Halo 5.
Now, it seems that a mislabeling happened back then. Otherwise, the slight change in the last frame of the trailer is something that had the fans abuzz once more for Halo 5.
Just think of the old trailer shown back then, where Master Chief has been trekking a seemingly deserted barren land, when a spaceship emerges from underground. He brings out a chip (which a lot of people have stated to assume to be Cortana's) before the scene fades to show that image.
According to Gaming Bolt, Axis Animation had claimed responsibility for the trailer shown at E3, though they did not specify if it was the changed Halo 5 trailer or the original one.
Still, this is very new development for the franchise, as most people have thought of giving up on seeing any progress in Halo 5, at least for the year. But this can mean that 2014 will be a very busy year for Microsoft if it plans to release Halo 5 after the Xbox One console has gotten its launch this year.
AGBLeaks shows off the trailer, which has been originally set to private by Axis Animation. Are you ready for Halo 5?
Pokemon X and Y: A new hope for Nintendo
With the release of the Nintendo 2DS, which most people have now dismissed as a baffling move on the part of the company, it seems that Nintendo should really be looking at its devices' games as the lifeblood of its profits.
Released on the same day as the 2DS, Pokemon X and Y is on a roll yet again, this time as a contender to become the next Animal Crossing for the gaming company.
The Wall Street Journal reports that Pokemon X and Y is a great way to make sure that gamers will not put down their Nintendo gadgets just yet. This is because the game can only be played with these devices, and this particular exclusivity can and have powered Nintendo's sales in the past.
In fact, the hype of Pokemon is now being played up even more, as the Shiny Legendary Pokemon is being promoted by GAME. According to The Inquisitr, these rare Pokemons are now being offered for download on specific dates.
You can use these pocket monsters in Pokemon X and Y, White, White 2,Black, and Black 2 versions of the game. Simply go to a GAME store to download the items.
Dead Rising 3 features a new trailer
For some gamers, the Xbox One is the trump console if only because of one thing: Dead Rising 3.
The game that had already proliferated zombies way before any graphic novel and series exploded the trend of the undead, the Dead Rising series is now back for its third run. This time, it hopes to bring back what captivated the audiences most in the first game.
Even before, it has been hailed that developers from Capcom have been working on the different technologies offered by Xbox One, to make the game even richer. Previous reports have pointed to the SmartGlass, which integrates mobile with console gaming to provide more missions and challenges.
Now Dead Rising aims to up the ante with two minutes of new footage, showing off the violence as well as the outfits that you can have while you battle the hordes of zombies. There are a lot of outfits, from a James Bond-like tuxedo, a shark suit, a knight in an armor, and even Street Fighter outfits--and each come with its own ability.
This is not the first gameplay trailer to be released for the game, as the first focuses more on the zombies, the technology used, and a run-through of the game.
