Microsoft seems to be knee-deep with Halo-related projects, as news of a domain privately registered by the company suggests a "Halo: Spartan Assault" project.

This follows a string of leaks and confirmations regarding a Halo TV series headed by Steven Spielberg and a Halo: Bootcamp.

According to Videogamer, there has not been any word on what the domain can be for. Speculations have either pointed to a possible relation to the TV series, while others are thinking that it may even be the Halo 5 in production.

The latter is a huge possibility, considering the recent leak of a list of video games that may be slated for announcements at the E3 2013.

The leak, supposedly from a NeoGaf user, lists several titles, some already confirmed such as Call of Duty: Ghosts and Battlefield 4, while others rumoured or a surprise entirely, like Mirror's Edge 2, Ryse, Quantum Break, Forza Motorsport 5, Dead Rising 3, Dying Light, and Halo: Spartan Assault.

Digital Spy adds another game that Microsoft may be betting on, as it is also part of the list, and one that has become of major interest to the netizens.

343 Industries on the hire for a Halo game?

Further potential proof of the recent leak being an upcoming Halo installment point to a recent job listing made by developer 343 Industries.

According to GameSpot, they are looking for a designer specialising in revolutionary multiplayer experiences, with a definitive nod to the development being a Halo game.

While there were no specifics involved, a Halo 5 installment is not far off the mark. The reported Halo Bootcamp may also be on the list of possible in-production projects, as it was confirmed by Microsoft in May.

And this time, it seems that 343 Industries is really aiming to put something groundbreaking to the table for its next Halo game, as the requirements for the job advertisement includes an AAA title with a multiplayer and competitive multiplayer experience from past Halo titles tucked under the applicant's credentials.

This may be one of the best Halo games yet, which will hopefully be given some form of confirmation or even a tease at the E3 2013.
