Hillary Duff Talks About New Album And ‘Younger’ On MTV [WATCH VIDEO]
Hillary Duff’s latest single “Sparks” hit the market on April 7. She also started with her new television show “Younger” that aired on March 31. Talking to MTV about her new album on April 6, the singer told that though it has a lot of dance in it, it is also heartfelt, according to MTV.
“A lot of the songs are about love, a lot of them around about loss, one of them is about Luca, Duff said adding that it is not heavy music but more easy. She was excited that people should hear it. Luca is her three-year-old son with hockey player, Mike Comrie.
Duff revealed that the name of her song about Luca is “This Heart.” However, no release date has been fixed for the album yet. She is coming up with her first musical project in seven years. Hillary said that she is generally a happy person. But, life has not been a bed of roses for the 27-year-old who faced a lot of ups and downs. The singer also filed for divorce from Mike in February.
She said that her songs are genuine and will be light and danceable. There has already been “Chasing The Sun,” a carefree anthem for the summertime and “All About You” a feel-good track with a country side flavour. Duff told that when she started writing, the lyrics were pretty heavy, but now since everything has changed and she is back to her cheerful self, the songs are now a lot lighter.
Hillary attended the premiere of her new show “Younger” last week. The diva who dyed her tresses blue hit the red carpet wearing a form-fitting red dress. The dress that went up to her knees had a plunging neckline that showed a lot of her cleavage and also a huge side slit. She teamed up her bold ensemble with a black Pink Stitch blazer thrown over her shoulders and strappy gold-capped Jerome C. Rousseau heels. She accessorised her ensemble with a shimmering clutch and used coral lipstick. Earlier she had told Ellen DeGeneres on her show the reason for her blue dye job being the ocean.
