Dior Home Fragrance celebrates this month with its announcement that British born hunk, Robert Pattinson has officially been signed as the new Ambassador of the fashion house. Robert joins other celebrities as faces of Dior through the years.

Kristen Stewart’s ex beau has finally joined the ranks of hottest celebrities who have agreed to become the face of one of the world’s high-end fashion house. Since it was founded by French designer, Christian Dior, the brand has found itself with Hollywood celebrities, models and prominent individuals who have helped the brand protect and promote its name for years.

According to Vogue, “[Christian Dior] was the first couturier to license his designs to be manufactured across the world, allowing him to build an empire which included ready-to-wear, accessories and beauty products, and setting a precedent that other fashion houses were soon to follow.”

His death did not stop the fashion house to flourish which have been made possible with its Ambassadors carefully chosen for their good name and success in the industry, serving as models to many.

The addition of Robert Pattinson as the newest face of the fashion house is hoped to do great in the promotion of Dior’s image.

“The House of Dior is delighted to announce that actor Robert Pattinson is to be the new face of Dior Homme fragrance. Since his first notable role in 2005 in the fourth Harry Potter sequel, film star Robert Pattinson has more recently come to be known through his role in the runaway box office success, the Twilight saga…” the Dior Homme Fragrance said in a statement.

On June 11, 2013, Robert Dior Homme Fragrance had finally announced Robert as the new face of the fashion house. In honor of Robert’s new role as Ambassador of Dior Homme Fragrance, a party was held at West Hollywood’s Soho House Tuesday, where some of the images of the campaign were unveiled as soft launch of his campaign.

The statement also said, “… we are excited to announce that he will join the privileged circle of Dior faces.”
