A Mobile Phone Shop Displaying HTC Smartphones In Taipei

The HTC One M9 Plus was rumoured to launch alongside the HTC One M9 but it did not come true. OnLeaks, the tipster known for revealing various leaks on the HTC smartphones, has revealed a leaked image of the HTC One M9 Plus and has also revealed the display and device size of what seems to be the larger version of the One M9 flagship.

OnLeaks has published an image of the HTC One M9 Plus alongside the HTC One M9 on his Twitter account. The HTC One M9 sports a 5-inch display and it measures 144.6 x 69.7 x 9.6 mm. In its comparison, the HTC One M9 Plus is a bigger device as it houses a 5.2-inch screen and measures 150.9 x 72.5 x 10.15 mm.

GSM Arena claims that the image posted by OnLeaks shows that the HTC One M9 does not sport a physical button but the said feature is available on the HTC One M9 Plus. The physical button that is pegged to house a fingerprint sensor divides the BoomSound speaker in two parts. The rear side of the HTC One M9 Plus sports a prominent circular camera module featuring a 20 MP shooter like the One M9, states another GSM Arena post.

According to GSM Arena, the 5.2-inch display of the HTC One M9 Plus will support Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The device is speculated to arrive in two chipset models, one will be powered by the MediaTek MT6795 SoC that will be aimed towards Chinese market and the other one will be featuring the Snapdragon 810 SoC that will meant for the rest of the world.

The chipset of the HTC One M9 Plus will be complemented by 3 GB of RAM. The external storage of the device is expected to support 32 GB of microSD. Phone Arena adds that the device will be come with a 4 MP selfie camera and it will be packed with a 2,840 mAh battery.
