Aussie rapper Iggy Azalea continues to enjoy her online break after spending the last week off Twitter and Instagram. She further revealed that she may not return to the popular sites, as she thinks they are “disgusting,” but instead will continue to work hard for her upcoming album and tour.

In a backstage interview on Thursday at the Samsung Milk Music Lounge where she was the headline act in Austin, Texas, the “Fancy” singer said, “Yeah, so nice not to be on social media so I'm kind of going to continue that until, maybe forever," quoted by CBS News. Earlier, she surrendered her social accounts to her managing team to post updates for her and has plans to leave it that way. She also recently posted her sentiments on the paparazzi invading her privacy by taking photos of her while at home, saying that it isn’t nice to just stick a camera through someone’s fence and snap away, emphasizing that such behavior was “disgusting.”

Iggy’s disgust over social media arose from the onslaught of body-shaming tweets after photos of her in a bikini and enjoying the February holidays with boyfriend Nick Young spread throughout popular media sites, IB Times UK stated. Users were quick to leave nasty comments about her “cellulite,” which created a negative head space for the rapper.

Still, the “Black Widow” singer keeps herself busy with her upcoming “The Great Escape” tour, which was originally scheduled to kick off in the spring, but was rescheduled to happen in the fall due to “production delays.” Iggy has previously explained that postponing the tour will provide more time for better creative direction for the shows she will be putting on. Moreover, the rapper also revealed that she wants to work on her sophomore album, aiming to have it finished by the end of 2015.
