While the release date of the iPhone 5S is still unclear on whether or not it's already just weeks or entire months away, another rumor has surfaced, this time focusing on the pixels to improve the display resolution of the next iPhone.

MacRumors reports that, based on a Chinese website report, there may be a change in the display, pegged to double the number of pixels to 1.5 million. However, there is also the possibility that this number of pixels may be due to a bigger screen.

The latter scenario would match previous reports, which have already stated that the iPhone 5Swill share the same display resolution as its predecessor.

But what's more important in the report is that it gives a date on which the iPhone 5S will start shipping, supposedly this September, complete with the mentioned rumored details above.

Apple patents proximity control feature

Future Apple iPhones may now give users the capability to control the speaker volume by changing only his or her distance from the device.

In a recent Apple patent, TechnoBuffalo reports that the patent details a proximity sensor that could "control audio and even switch between receiver and speaker-phone automatically."

There have been no rumors for the iPhone 5S regarding this matter. And considering the timeline, it may not be part of the iPhone 5S lineup.

It may, however, find its way on the iPhone 6, granted that those at Apple find a way to measure the user proximity with the handset.

A new concept for the iOS 7

Another anticipated Apple product is the iOS 7, which the much awaited revamped OS that Apple fans are still hoping will come to the iPhone 6 when it releases next year.

To alleviate the wait, YouTube account holder ConceptsiPhone has created another concept video, this time by Christian Lue and Ran Avni.

The trailer showcases many potential and interesting features for the iOS 7, starting with a panoramic background and icons for folders.

But the more substantial ones include the quick reply, wherein incoming messages can easily be read and answered without having to move from the current app you are in. all you need to do is click on the hovering pop-up window on the upper right hand corner of the screen and reply.

There is also the addition of a music app as well as improved settings on the phone.
