Chloe Sevigny recently made headlines following her statements about fellow Hollywood actress Jennifer Lawrence’s personality. According to reports, Sevigny doesn’t take well to JLAW’s character and even compared her acting skills with Angelina Jolie and Emma Stone.

In an interview with V Magazine for its 94th issue, Chloe Sevigny made her feelings known about what she thinks of Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence. According to Just Jared, the “Bloodline” actress was asked about her favourite and least favourite movie stars during the interview. Sevigny started by stating she loves it when a “movie star is a great movie star.” She then praised Angelina Jolie for a being a “great movie star” and admitted she likes Emma Stone since she finds her “really cute” just being herself. However, the 40-year-old didn’t have nice words to say about Jennifer Lawrence. “Jennifer Lawrence I find annoying. Too crass,” she said.

According to Yahoo Celebrity, Chloe Sevigny is apparently not too fond of Jennifer Lawrence’s “candor” or frankness. While other stars and fans of JLaw may have been won over by the “Hunger Games” star’s humour and goofiness, the site claimed Sevigny is so totally “over it.” The “Big Love” star is said to be already immune to the 24-year-old’s charms.

CBS News claimed Sevigny’s comments about Jennifer Lawrence came after a discussion on how an actor’s personality greatly impacts their acting career. Having a big personality is said to be associated to being a celebrity. Chloe Sevigny admitted she knows that having a star quality is a big plus since it carries a lot of value. It’s reportedly what sells the product or in this case the movie star. She acknowledged the importance personality has in elevating one’s acting career and this is said to be where her flaw comes in.

Chloe Sevigny revealed in her interview with V Magazine that she also has a flaw in her personality which had somehow affected her career. Although she expressed her desire to be respected as an actress, she also claimed her lack of charisma could be a potential reason why she has “never reached another level” in her acting career.
