In a first by a celebrity, “Jurassic World” actor Chris Pratt has issued an advance apology to his fans for any offensive statements he might occur in future. The 35-year-old actor called himself “dumb and plain” on his Facebook page and said he wants to “make a heartfelt apology for whatever it is I end up accidentally saying during the forthcoming ‪#‎JurassicWorld‬ press tour.”

The actor was currently in China for the promotion of his film “Jurassic World,” which is a reboot and fourth installment of the hit film “Jurassic Park.” The “Guardians of the Galaxy” star did not say or do anything for which he apologised on Facebook. “I want to make a heartfelt apology for whatever it is I end up accidentally saying during the forthcoming ‪#‎JurassicWorld‬ press tour,” Pratt writes on Facebook.

“I hope you understand it was never my intention to offend anyone and I am truly sorry,” he continues by calling himself “the nicest guy in the world. He also added that he “fully regrets what I (accidentally will have) said in (the upcoming foreign and domestic) interview(s).” The actor further wrote an apology to “those I (will have) offended.”

He tells them to “please understand” how truly sorry he already is and said that he is “fully aware that the subject matter of my imminent forthcoming mistake, a blunder (possibly to be) dubbed “JurassicGate” is (most likely) in no way a laughing matter.” Pratt's film is scheduled for a June 10 release in France, June 11 in the UK, and a day later in U.S. cinemas.

According to Variety, the latest installment in Universal Pictures “will feast on an opening weekend of U.S. $100 million or more.” Phil Contrino, vice president and chief analyst at BoxOffice.com told the website that the “trailers are connecting in such a big way” with the audience. The advance bookings for the tickets kicked off on May 15 at Fandango and “the film is one of its top five best sellers this week.”
