'Just Cause 3' suffers from faulty launch date; gamers reports framerate dropping to 17 fps and more
“Just Cause 3” officially launched last Dec. 1, there’s a big hype leading towards the release of the game, but it seems the developer has come up a few inches short in delivering an excellent title. Several reports claim that the launch version of “Just Cause 3” is riddled with bugs and performance issues.
"sJust Cause 3" features one of the biggest open-world’s seen in a video game to date. Not only does the game feature a 400-square mile map, it also features a lot of explosions and destruction which demands for high processing power. It’s no surprise that the game may be suffering from issues during launch, but it seems players are taken aback by the several graphical bugs found in the game.
PCGamer reports that several players have begun to file reports about the bugs found within the game. The currently reported issues include dropping framerates, stuttering, missing terrain and several online server complains.
As of now, the game has a mixed reviews on Steam. With the hype leading up to it, having mixed reviews for “Just Cause 3” means that something is off with the game. Some comments in the Steam page of the game further suggest that not everyone is subjected to the bugs, while some report that the game crashes for no reason.
Aside from the reported issues, Videogamer notes that the game suffers from other issues that could put off more players. It reports that the games loading time could reach up to a staggering 15 minutes, which led some players to think that the game may have crashed.
As for the framerate, it reports that the game could drop to a measly 17 fps. At this low framerate, the game becomes very slow. Since “Just Cause 3” is full of action and destruction, the dropped framerate could greatly affect the players.
