LG G4 Benchmark Scores: G4 Trails Behind Samsung Galaxy S6 And HTC One M9 In AnTuTu And GeekBench Tests
The recently launched LG G4 is apparently the first smartphone ever to run Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 808 chipset. It is worth reminding that, the chipmaker Qualcomm reportedly unveiled the Snapdragon 808 chip alongside the more powerful 64-bit Snapdragon 810. Therefore, it’s time to find out the performance scores of the new Snapdragon 808 SoC. To help with that, GSM Arena has listed down the LG G4 benchmark scores from various benchmark testing sites.
In general, the Snapdragon 808 chip comes with a hexa-core 64-bit processor in combination with two Cortex-A57 cores and four Cortex-A53 cores. The graphical unit is apparently taken care by an Adreno 418 GPU and backed by a good 3 GB of RAM configuration. In the meantime, other key LG G4 specifications include a 5.5-inch display and Quad HD screen resolution, packed with a killer IPS Quantum panel in order to provide impressive colour reproduction, notes GSM Arena.
Even though, the LG G4 does not house the Snapdragon 810, GSM Arena says, LG has stated that the Snapdragon 808 chip has the capability to provide “equal performance” as the powerful Samsung Exynos 7420, when it comes to every day routine activities. With such a huge claim, GSM Arena somehow managed to find a LG G4 Korean variant from the launch event to run benchmark tests. Also it is worth noting that, the LG G4 runs on the latest Android 5.1 Lollipop OS.
Going by the GSM Arena report, here is the list of scores from the GeekBench 3 multi-core benchmark and the AnTuTu 5 test. Readers should note that, the higher the benchmark score, the better.
LG G4: GeekBench Benchmark Testing Score
- Samsung Galaxy S6 -> 5215
- Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge -> 5095
- HTC One M9 -> 3761
- LG G Flex2 -> 3604
