LG Nexus 5X and Huawei Nexus 6P to start at $379 and $499, respectively
The LG Nexus 5 and the Huawei Nexus 6P will be unleashed with Android 6.0 Marshmallow on Sept. 29. Rumours are rife that both the devices will be available for preorders online after the launch event.
The LG Nexus 5X will be featuring a 5.2-inch display that will support for full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It will be powered by Snapdragon 808 chip and 2 GB of RAM. It will be equipped by 2,700 mAh battery.
The Google Nexus 5X will be available in two internal storage flavours of 16 GB and 32 GB. According to Android Police, the 16 GB base model will be costing $379 (AUD $545). The 32 GB model will be pricier than the base model.
The handset will be available in colours like Ice Blue, Carbon and Quartz. The five countries that will begin taking preorders of the Google Nexus 5X are the U.S., the U.K, South Korea, Japan and Ireland.
The Huawei Nexus 6P phablet will be coming with a bigger 5.7-inch Quad HD display. It will be powered by Snapdragon 810 v2.1 chipset and 3 GB of RAM. It will be packed with a huge battery of 3,450 mAh capacity.
It will be available in three storage versions of 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB. The base model of the Huawei Nexus 6P will be costing $499 (AUD $718), according to another report from the same publication. The pricing details of the 64 GB and 128 GB variants are currently unavailable.
The Nexus 6P will be coming in four colour options of Aluminum, Graphite, Frost and Gold. The preorders of the handset will begin in countries like the U.S. the U.K, Ireland, Canada and Japan. The golden variant of the Nexus 6P will be exclusively available in Japan.
The LG Nexus 5X as well as the Huawei Nexus 6P can be preordered through Google Store from Sept. 29. Hence, at the beginning, both handsets will not be available for preorders through their carrier partners.
