After failing to attend her first day of community service at the Duffield Children’s Center in New York, Lindsay Lohan finally appeared on May 14, all set to work. While there were reports of her arriving two hours late, the administrator from the center shared that she knows for a fact that the star arrived way earlier than her shift.

Lohan finally showed up for community service but the controversies surrounding her are not stopping. TMZ reports that Lohan only snaked in on the children’s center 90 minutes after all the children of the nursery school already arrived. However, an administrator shared that this is not the case. The administrator said that the actress even arrived “super early” and detailed that the Lohan would be engaging in clerical work for her first day. The administrator added that the actress will complete eight hours, which means she would have 107 hours left to fill before her May 28 deadline.

A day before, Daily Star reported that Lohan missed her first day of community service at the Duffield Children’s Center in New York. According to the staff, this was because of some paperwork issues but the actress will definitely complete her community service at the said centre. According to the staff member of the Duffield Children’s Center, there is no doubt that the actress will be serving her sentence on the said institution, but they need to manage some things first and sort out all her papers. Reps for the star however reasoned that she was not able to appear on her first day because her medical clearance is still not yet sorted out.

On the part of the actress, she posted a telling message showing how much she is raring to complete her community service hours and help out. "Happy to be home in nyc with my family and friends. Missed this place. ready to help,” she wrote in her Instagram. The actress is set to work for 115 hours before May 28 or else face the possibility of going to jail.
