'Minecraft PS Vita,’ PS3 Transfer Updates From Devs And Mods Show Off Destiny And Halo Creations
The "Minecraft PS4 Edition" and "Minecraft Xbox One Edition" have both been released for their respective consoles. Now, the last expected platform to debut, the "Minecraft PS Vita Edition," has updates from the developers.
In the official Twitter page, 4J Studios responded to a fan query regarding plans following the release of the two titles:
.@Funnyface992 We'll be focussing on PSVita, PS3 Save Transfer update, fixing Xbox One & PS4 bugs, then on to an update across all consoles.

It seems that developer 4J Studios will be back to the drawing board to ensure that it can release the latest update and version of the newly released PS4 and Xbox One editions. This is so that the new editions can catch up to where the other platforms already are in terms of updates.
While there are no definitive dates for the "Minecraft PS Vita Edition," the recently released lineup of games that Sony will feature at TGS 2014 includes this title. Whether or not this is meant to be a teaser before the actual game becomes available in retail or if the "Minecraft PS Vita Edition" will be released before TGS 2014 happens remains to be seen.
Theres's something to be said about how fast 4J Studios was able to deliver the "Minecraft PS4 Edition" days after it appeared to be headed for a delay for failing certification with Sony. This can mean PS Vita players may not have to wait as long to get started on playing "Minecraft" on their handheld consoles.
For those who are already enjoying the new "Minecraft" titles, there are already some interesting creations made by fans. One such project is the "Destiny" Tower, where fan Quincy Van Hilst, also a YouTuber, has created a very detailed tribute to Bungie's shooter game, also recently released.
According to Eurogamer, the map has been created with the "Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition" Halo texture mash-up pack. Check out the video featuring the tour around the "Destiny" Tower below.
This is not all, as another fan has featured the "Halo" world over at the "MInecraft Xbox One Edition." VG 24/7 created the video, where you can see a walkthrough of the first mission in "Halo" in its blocky glory. The gameplay video can be seen in the link above.
For those interested to know how to transfer "Minecraft Xbox 360" worlds to the "Minecraft Xbox One Edition," Attack of the Fanboy enumerates the five simple steps:
- Launch "Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition" while you are logged in to your Xbox Live profile
- Press "Play Game" to access the world that you want to transfer
- Press Y to upload the save file of the world
- Launch "Minecraft Xbox One Edition" while still using the Xbox Live profile that you previously used in step one
- Press "Play Game" and press X to download the file you copied.
