Just as 4J Studios promised, the developers already rolled out some of the new screenshots for the first texture pack, dubbed the Plastic Texture Pack.

The Plastic Texture Pack is one of the promised packs to roll out rafter TU12, and it seems that the delivery date will extend to the TU13, as 4J Studios also reported that the "Minecraft: Xbox 360" TU13 is already with Microsoft for cert testing.

The screenshots, which are already available on Play XBLA, received both positive and negative comments from fans who have seen the screenshots.

"Lazy, simple, and just plain terrible. You guys have just made the Grass green? Give us a texture pack that we can use in Survival and that look good to the eye. This Texture pack looks like something used in BETA when Mojang 1st created the game and weren't worried about how the game looked. Utter Disappointment," commented Wes.

"I love this look, nice, clean, and simple! I'm using a simple texture pack on PC as well, so I'm glad one is finally coming to the 360 version!" said Forsythia.

You've seen the screenshots. What do you think of the first texture pack?

Snapshot 13w39b Detailed

Those who have been keeping close watch of the snapshots leading to the 1.7 update of Minecraft will be happy to know that the latest version, 13w39b, has already been rolled out.

On Minecraft Gamepedia, the list of changes and additions to the update reveals quite a few bug fixes and some new add-ons.

For one, there is now an alert that will appear asking you to use the item names when spawning it while using the ID. This is a notification that the item will soon be deprecated.

A new achievement called Diamonds to You is now attainable when you throw diamonds to a zombie with the Can Pick Up Loot tag.

Perhaps one of the biggest changes is the Minecart with Command Block, which can be activated for every four ticks or two redstone ticks. This new feature can be used to run commands and travel, and may be the next best option after Command Block.

The bug fixes also point to six major ones, including the activation of Minecarft with Command Block to cause other activations, the squid damage multi-player, the inavailability of Diamonds to You in single player and the Shaders which are not working.

It is a shorter list for its predecessor, but it seems that Mojang is still inviting gamers to find bugs for the latest snapshot.

'Minecraft' PS4 Edition: Expect the Same as the 'Minecraft: Xbox 360' Edition

The last piece of news about the "Minecraft" PS4 edition that was rolled out is the announcement that that "Minecraft" will no longer be Xbox exclusive as it comes to the PS4, PS3 and the PS Vita.

Since then, no other word came from the developers or Sony. But now, 4J Studios, the developers behind the PS3 Xbox 360 Edition, already announced that not only are they making al the version for Sony's rendition but also that the basic structure of one of the games has already been revealed.

According to NowGamer, the structure of the PS4 version will be the same as the Xbox 360 in terms of the underlying code in the game. Since the "Minecraft: Xbox 360" Edition has seen a lot of updates, the "Minecraft" PS4 edition will at least have the Title Update 13 when it releases.
