Zombie Tsunami Madness: Top 5 Tricks and Tips to Get You Started
What do you get when you combine the undying (pun much intended) trend of zombies with the addictive endless running games? Mobigame has already found the answer in Zombie Tsunami, the new addictive game that's plaguing anyone with time to spare on the road or at home.
The previously iOS-exclusive game is now available for the Android, and there is much to like about this new game. The basic premise of Zombie Tsunami is that you start with one zombie and grow a horde in the same way normal zombies multiply--"eating" people.
When you've grown your horde, you can use them to pass by obstacles, with the catch of having at least one zombie left, so you will not die at the level and continue to multiply.
Here are some good tips and tricks to remember if you're just starting out with Zombie Tsunami.
Avoid the in-app purchases
Zombie Tsunami for iPhone and Android is a free-to-play game, but its format takes after Plants vs. Zombies 2 in that it has its in-app purchases for perks like skipping levels or getting freebies.
But according to GameWoof, one good tip to remember with buying items in Zombie Tsunami is that it's not necessary unless you are after skipping missions to get ahead.
Keep watch for power-ups
If there's one thing that makes Zombie Tsunami easy and addictive is that its mechanics lets you live longer based on your strategy and wit. It's not a one-wrong-turn-and-you're-dead issue but rather many power-ups that can help your run.
Zombie Tsunami has a lot of these power-ups, and the trick is to keep your eyes peeled and use them wisely.
Careful with bombs
Bombs are scattered as you run, and you have to make sure that you either avoid them or that your horde can handle it without completely being eradicated.
In Supercheats, Tunnel 7 was posed as a problem in Tsunami Zombie. One good trick to remember is to time your jumps. Try to find a compromise for the damage that your Zombie Tsunami horde will get so it won't be too much of a pressure.
Get past the 2-second long jump
This isn't a very hard task to do so long as you take physics into the equation. Frndz blog states that that you have to find a higher platform before jumping to a lower one.
As you do this jump, you have to press your finger down on the screen for the entire jump.
The spare 10k coins
Be mindful of your pace in the game, because you don't know when you will need the Last Chance + Two additional Power-up card.
According to Noypigeeks, these power-ups can cost you 5,000 coins, and you never know if you would have been able to finish that level of Zombie Tsunami if you had that spare coins left.
