Minecraft Xbox 360 TU 12 Bug Fixes and Fan Mash-up Pack Wishes; Minecraft Pocket Edition 0.7.5 Update Bug Fixes
Now that the Minecraft Xbox 360 TU 12 first mash-up pack is already available for download, developers 4J Studios are now turning their efforts to a texture pack, which they had promised to release after the Mass Effect mash-up pack is done.
"It'll be non-game related more of a style texture pack," said 4J Studios.
In terms of the TU 12, the bug findings and fixes is still ongoing, as fans eagerly help the developers in identifying bugs that can be fixed when the TU 13 rolls out.
A user named Payjin has spotted an issue wherein animals breed but no enchantment points are delivered. The second issue revolves around double doors. "Double doors all installed improperly after update. Had to reinstall all of them."
To the second one, 4J Studios has already acknowledge that it happens when one loads a world into TU 12 for the first time, so those who are just transitioning their worlds to the newest update may have to keep watch for this bug.
Sonshice has pointed out one bug regarding Ghasts as well. "I don't know if this is a bug but nevertheless I think it needs to be fixed. In the Nether, Ghasts spawn like crazy. 7-8 attacking at once. When I kill some of them, they spawn immediately again. No time to explore because I'm always under attack. "
A similar issue was pointed out by IamSelendis, to which 4J Studios have responded, "Ghasts should be limited to a maximum number naturally spawned at one time, I'll look into this."
Last for the roundup of the day includes Frothers' bug finds, which concern the water and lava source blocks. "Water and lava source blocks when placed sometimes do not disappear after being collected. For example, if you spam placing/collecting lava in a bucket under the leaves of a tree by the trunk, it will stay there, still able to burn dropped items but not cause fire or spread."
Have you tried out the Minecraft Xbox 360 TU 12 and found a few bugs? You can post your bug find on the official thread at the Minecraft forum so 4J Studios can immediately check it out.
Mash-up pack wish lists
Apart from the bug fixes that the community members are all aiming to help with, the mash-up pack wish lists of fans are also a hot topic of discussion on Minecraft forums.
While the top five has been previously named, there are also a number of game suggestions that people are pushing forward. Spyro, Left 4 Dead, and Banjo Kazooie seem to be gaining more votes in the polls.
There are also a number of fans who have placed their votes on possible mash-up games like Simpsons, Star Trek, Far Cry, Final Fantasy, Gears of War, Fable and DC Universe.
Other fan suggestions that didn't make it on the poll include Kingdom Hearts, Legend of Zelda, and Pokemon. Although the latter two, as well as one of the poll favorites Super Smash Bros., may seem close to impossible, as they are owned by Nintendo, a platform that Minecraft has yet to tap.
Minecraft Pocket Edition additions
Speaking of bug fixes, the Minecraft Xbox 360 TU 12 is not the only thing that is rolling out with bug fixes. Those who are enjoying building on the go through the Minecraft Pocket Edition can also expect an update today.
In the Google Play Store, the 0.7.5 version is already available, and it comes with a number of things. Support for connecting to external servers has already been added and the creepers can now be ignited using flint and steel.
And of course, the update is more of a bug fix than anything else. Droid Gamers adds that there is also a new added feature, which gives you the choice of turning on the vibration every time you break blocks.
