As the news of Minecraft now heading for the different platforms of Sony including the PS4, the PS3, and the PS Vita, Minecraft Xbox 360 TU 12 reiterated that the soonest time possible for the update to arrive will be immediately conveyed to fans.

"As soon as we know when TU 12 is coming out, we'll let you know," according to 4J Studios' latest tweet update.

A lot is expected for this rather hefty update, as it contains not just fixes but also the addition of new content, such as zombie sieges, a tutorial world, children villagers, ocelots, jungle wood and stairs, and texture and mash-up packs.

Currently, a release date has not yet been released or even hinted at but 4J Studios has already submitted the Minecraft Xbox 360 TU 12 to Microsoft for Cert Testing.

Cobalt goes to Xbox One, Xbox 360

At the Gamescom event, Mojang has announces its first third-party-published game Cobalt, which will be heading to the Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

Cobalt brings you cyborgs, weapons, and maneuvers, where you will be executing moves like combat rolls, rocket punches, and wall jumps.

According to Mojang's official newswire, the game will be ported to the console by FatShark AB, as it is currently only available for the PC and Mac.

"Since we started developing Cobalt, it's been obvious that the game would feel right at home on a console," said Pontus Hammarberg, one of the developers of the game. "We're working on a hefty single player campaign, but there's nothing quite like experiencing the slow motion ballet of violence that is Cobalt with friends."

Minecraft 1.7 update hinted?

Players are currently enjoying the latest update, the Minecraft 1.6.2, which featured a few bug fixes when it debuted last July 8.

But it seems that developers are now hard at work, and are able to give a glimpse of what to expect come the 1.7 update. On the official Minecraft Forums site, the picture of a sunflower was teased by developer Jens Bergensten.

"Here's a new way to tell north from south, and west from east, in future Minecraft."

Most of the developments for the 1.7 update has been tightly kept confidential, but another update form the forums revealed impact particles that will be utilised in the update as a way to help immersion.

In the report, it is said that the father you fall from a certain distance, generate particles will impact from whatever that block you will land on is. Updates are expected to trickle in, which may hint at the readiness of the update in a while.
