It's time to check back to your PS4 preorders, as Sony has just announced five official bundles for the PS4, aside from the standard standalone package. The new bundles will package Sony's next-gen app with some new games--and it's just one of the new reasons why the PS4 is the hottest console now.

Now confirmed as official bundles for the PS4, IGN has revealed the four games coming with the PS4. One of the earlier reported bundles is the PS4 bundled with Killzone: Shadow Fall Special Edition. There is also the Watch Dogs bundle, which will be sold at the same price as the first bundle at £399.

Another bundle is the Killzone: Shadow Fall and Drive Club at £439. Lastly, the most expensive PS4 bundle to date is the combination of the PS4 console, the PS4 camera, an extra DualShock 4 controller, and Killzone: Shadow Fall, which will be sold at £449, a bit above the standard Xbox One price.

Despite having a higher price than the Xbox One, the last bundle is still worth the buy if only because you will now have the PS4 Eye for augmented reality gaming, another DualShock 4 controller (priced at $60), and a PS4-exclusive game.

PS4 App named and coming to PS Vita as update

Sony has been ramping up some attention for the PS Vita ever since it started touting the Remote Play feature for the PS4. Now, the PS Vita will be in the limelight again as it prepares to update to become the ultimate PS4 companion app.

According to Joystiq, the next update to come to the PS4 will equip it with the capability for the PS4 Link, the app title for the PS4 app.

"We'll add 'PS4 Link' app to PS Vita with the next update," said Shuhei Yoshida, Sony Worldwide boss in a tweet.

The PS4 Link is also coming to the iOS and Android smart devices once the PS4 launches. It is Sony's own contender to the SmartGlass app for Microsoft. Similar to other apps functioning for games, the PS4 Link will provide more content and material for the console, including connecting with friends, purchasing online, and remote access to the PS4.

In a previous report, the PS4 Link has also been noted to have an added feature of being open to other small-time independent developers, if they want to add the smart device app feature to their games.

Injustice: Gods Among Us heads to PS4

One of the most successful and favorite brawler games for this year is NetherRealm Studios' Injustice: Gods among Us, and now, this seems to be another of PS4's strengths over the Xbox One.

Just recently, a PS Vita version of the game has already been announced following a PC release. This time, a PS4 version will also be made available, and it will be the Ultimate Edition. This means that the game will also come with all the DLC pack characters like Lobo, Batgirl, Zatanna, General Zod, Martian Manhunter, Scorpion, and the S.T.A.R. Labs Missions, reports Game Informer.

What's more, you can also get a soundtrack with 11 songs, from the likes of Depeche Mode and Jane's Addiction for those who will be getting the Injustice: Gods Among Us ultimate edition in the U.S.

All of these are dated to arrive on November 12--a little ahead of the actual console version, but it's notable that an Xbox One version has not yet been announced. Does this mean that Injustice: Gods Among Us will be a PS4-exclusive game?
