With Moto G2 (aka Moto G+1) Release Date Set for Sept. 10, Moto G Can be Purchased for $59.99 [Hurry, Limited Period Offer]
With the next-generation Moto G handset's release date approaching, the currently available Moto G can be purchased at a discounted price right now. However, this could be a limited period offer.
The original Moto G was released in the last quarter of 2013. The handset was received with positive reviews across the globe. Literally, Motorola found a holy grail in the Moto G. Within several months, the company released the Moto E; the entry-level variant of the Moto G. No surprise there, the handset was a huge hit in emerging markets.
Later, Motorola went ahead and released a 4G LTE variant of the Moto G. In addition to supporting 4G LTE, the handset also supports microSD card for memory expansion. Hence the Moto G is easily one of the best smartphones that can be purchased at a budget-friendly price.
The Moto G2 (Moto G+1) will reportedly be released on Sept. 10. Apparently, selected retailers might receive the upcoming Moto handset before the official release date i.e. towards the end of August. The Moto G2 will reportedly be priced around €250 in the regions pertaining to Europe, according to Phone Arena.
When it comes to specification, the Moto G2 (Moto G+1) will reportedly feature a 5-inch display packed with 1,280 x 720 pixels resolution, while the original Moto G comes with a 4.5-inch display. Under the hood, the smartphone will be powered by a quad-core (Qualcomm Snapdragon 400) Cortex-A7 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz. Hence there is no change in the processor unit from the predecessor.
As far as the memory/storage goes, the Moto G2 comes equipped with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of in-built storage. However, the same publication opines that a 16 GB storage option is a possibility. At this point we do not have information on the expandable storage capacity. By keeping Moto G 4G LTE model in mind, we are hoping that the Moto G2 should come with expandable storage option.
When it comes to camera, the handset houses an 8 MP rear-facing camera unit with LED flash in addition to a 2 MP secondary shooter. The Moto G2 will likely run Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS. Nevertheless, Motorola has not confirmed the existence of the device thus far.

However, this smartphone with the aforementioned offer can only be purchased from Target, according to Phone Arena.
