Moto X+1 Spotted With The 'M' Logo And Leaked In A Video, Screenshot Taken from Verizon's System
Looking away briefly from the IFA Event fever in Berlin, Motorola will also have its own event, this time in Chicago, where fans will expect to hear more about the consistently leaked information on the Moto X+, the successor to the Moto G.
A few days before the expected event, a few new leaks have been discovered for the Moto X+1. The first is the detailed video leak of the Moto X+1. Pocket Now has spotted the video, care of TK Tech News, which basically shows off the alleged look of the Moto X+1, the front and back view and the interesting button on the back with the 'M' logo.
The last feature is supposedly a power button, though no other details have been divulged. But what can be seen in the video below is that the 'M' button is also customizable, such as changing the colour by using the Moto Maker.
Speaking of customizability, SlashGear adds that Motorola may also allow the Moto X+1 more materials for customization, which can include wood, plastic, leather and aluminum, among others. Not only that, the source also states that the Moto X+1, which is exclusive to Verizon, may even come out with a carbon fiber option exclusive to the carrier and will be released sometime during the holidays this year.
Another new feature that has not been discussed as of yet is that the flash may be the thin tube surrounding the entire camera, as depicted by the long tube that runs around the rim of the camera at the back of the alleged Moto X+1.
Apart from this, the Moto X+1 has also been exposed in a screenshot taken from the computer system of Verizon.
In the latest report, Phandroid has stated that the "new Moto X" has been sighted on the list, with two kinds of possible casing options, black and white/bamboo. There is even a Moto Maker device with two variants, the 16GB and 32GB choice.
The screenshot is featured in the link above, but what's also notable about the screenshot is that it features the name "the new Moto X" instead of the often-used "Moto X+1." This could imply that Motorola has not yet granted a definitive name to the successor of the Moto X smartphone or it could be that "the new Moto X" will actually be the operational name of the device.
