The release date of "Halo: The Master Chief Collection" may already be set, but that does not mean that "Halo 5: Guardians" is already out of the picture in terms of leaks. Just recently, a new footage of the title has been leaked and revealed a few key things that fans have already reacted to.

In a report from Crave Online, it appears that the leaked video has showcased what could be the aim down sight, which some fans did not take too well. There now seems to be a new system where, instead of showing the screen in full perspective, players now have the aim down sight style. Now fans may be worrying that the same system should be expected of other weapons.

Far worse is the fact that other people are now thinking that "Halo 5: Guardians" may now be taking a step away from the original "Halo" and going the path of "Halo 4," which is reported to be one of the worst of the series. Whether or not this should start speculation for 343 Industries' upcoming "Halo" iteration will be decided once the developers give more details, but another report suggests that the aim down sight may be present in all guns.

Gearnuke reports that insider shinobi602 has hinted that almost all guns will have the new system because the developer may be looking at an e-Sports approach for the "Halo" series. This is the furthest that he could confirm with the developers, and he even speculated on whether they are there for speculative value. However, it seems that the assault rifle is the one gun that's sure to have the aim down sight.

The good news is that that the developer is reportedly keeping a close eye on feedback, and negative reactions to the inclusion of the aim down sight may change things up. Another bit of rumour on the front is that Agent Locke, who was once announced to be a secondary character in "Halo 5: Guardians," may actually be a more primary one. "What made it more sad is that while MC (Master Chief) is still playable, Locke really is the primary character," said shinobi602 as quoted by Gearnuke.

More than the fans, the developers have also reacted to the leak just a few days before the release of what can be one of the biggest titles of the year. Despite the leak, 343 Industries head Bonnie Ross still remains very positive, and even invited fans to tune in to the HaloFest for more on "Halo 5: Guardians."

DualShockers cited some tweets that 343 Industries' Josh Holmes posted for his fans. The tweets confirmed that descope is back in the new title, though this is the furthest that the developer is willing to reveal before the HaloFest.
