New pictures of Princess Charlotte released by Kensington Palace
New pictures of Princess Charlotte were released by Kensington Palace on Sunday. The pictures of baby Charlotte were taken by her mother Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, and released by the palace to celebrate the six-month birthday of the little royal.
Middleton snapped two pictures of her baby girl as an early Christmas present to royal fans. They were released by Kensington Palace to thank fans for the good wishes sent to the royal couple, Hello reports.
The pictures were taken by the 33-year-old in early November, and shows how much Princess Charlotte has grown into a little girl in the last five months. The pictures were taken by the Duchess of Cambridge at their family home, Anmer Hall in Norfolk.
The toddler is a spitting image of her mother in the new pictures. She is seen with her thick, dark hair, big blue eyes and long dark lashes, just like her mom. Charlotte is pictured wearing a printed floral dress with frilly collar by Liberty, Yahoo reports. She wears a pink cashmere cardigan and pale-pink socks along with her dress.
The baby is shown sitting in a chair with a toy and laughing. Kate is believed to have used the same Canon model she used for previous shots of her children, The Guardian reports.
Charlotte looks delighted with a cuddly toy dog in a photo taken by her mother. The baby looks all grown up for the first time since she was seen during her christening at St Mary Magdalene church on the Queen’s Sandringham estate in Norfolk in July . “The duke and duchess continue to receive warm messages about Princess Charlotte from all around the world and they hope that everyone enjoys these lovely photos as much as they do,” the palace said in a statement.
The mother-of-two had earlier taken a joint portrait of her children, George and his sister, a few weeks after her daughter was born.
Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana, who is fourth in line to the British throne after Prince Charles, her father Prince William and her two-year-old brother, Prince George, was born on May 2.
