The Dallas Cowboys and wide receiver Cole Beasley have agreed to extend their partnership after a new four-year deal worth $13.6 million have been agreed upon by both parties. The deal has $7 million guaranteed and a $4 million signing bonus with incentives possibly allowing the 25 year old slot receiver to earn up to $15.1 million.

The deal was first reported by NFL Media Insider Ian Rapport on Tuesday who mentioned a source who have seen the actual contract between Beasley and the Cowboys. The official Twitter account of the Cowboys also announced the deal on social media.

The 5-foot-8, 180-pound wide receiver has been in the league for three years all with the Cowboys. He was an undrafted free agent that was signed in 2012 after attending and playing college football at Southern Methodist University. Beasley was once a quarterback during his high school playing days then shifted to wide receiver in college and the pros.

For his three-year NFL career, Beasley has 916 receiving yards on 91 receptions for 10.1 average per target and also has six career touchdowns. He played well for the Cowboys last season with 420 receiving yards, an NFL career-high, on 37 catches with four touchdowns, also a career-high in the league.

Along with other receivers Dez Bryant, DeMarco Murray and Jason Witten, Beasley was key in Dallas’ good run in the 2014 season. The Cowboys finished the regular season with 12 wins against 4 losses to win the National Football Conference, or NFC, East division and make the playoffs. In the NFL postseason, they defeated the Detroit Lions, 24-20 in the wildcard game but fell to the Green Bay Packers, 26-21 in the NFC divisional round match-up.
