The Nokia Lumia 620 smartphone is currently available at Aio Mobile with the lower $99.99 price tag. No need to sign any contract for the mid-range Windows Phone 8 handset but the consumers can only use the Nokia device on the AT&T network.

"Today we're happy to announce that the colorful and critically acclaimed Nokia Lumia 620 is finally coming to the U.S. Available now on Aio Wireless, the Nokia Lumia 620 will bring a fully featured smartphone at a price that will be attractive to a whole new audience," the official Nokia Conversations blog noted.

The Aio Wireless deal and services are available only for a limited time in limited regions such as Houston, Texas, Orlando, Tampa, Jacksonville, Gainesville and Florida. However, AT&T's subsidiary service provider has plans of expanding its services on a national scale soon.

The Nokia Lumia 620 was officially launched in December 2012 and headed to numerous Asian and European countries since January 2013. The Finnish company's handset became available in the United States in May through carrier AT&T's subsidiary brand Aio Wireless with the $179.99 price.

The Nokia Lumia 620 may be an old model but the Finnish smartphone manufacturer confirmed that the Nokia handset will get hold of the Amber update in the later part of September 2013. The latest major update will bring new features and enhanced performance to the Nokia Lumia 620.

Features and specs incorporated in the Nokia Lumia 620 includes the 3.8-inch ClearBlack LCD screen display with 800x480p resolution, the power of a 1GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, Adreno 305 GPU, 512MB of RAM, Windows Phone 8 OS and 1300mAh battery. The handset is equipped as well with the 5MP camera, VGA secondary camera and 8GB of internal storage capacity that can be expanded up to 64GB through the microSD card slot.

The Nokia Lumia range is recognized with the available bright colour choices. Consumers can choose from the Nokia Lumia 620 colour options of black, white, lime green, purple, orange, magenta, cyan and yellow.
