Concept phones continue to spark up the interest of device enthusiasts when it comes to imagining what upcoming smartphones could look like. For the Nokia Lumia range, concept designer Edgar Mkrtchyan and technology news Web site Neowin.com teases the Nokia fans with impressive and stylish design on the Nokia Lumia 1030 and Nokia Lumia 1080 with Windows Phone 8.1 OS.

Edgar Mkrtchyan attracts the Nokia enthusiasts on a deluxe design of the Nokia Lumia 1030 model running on Windows Phone 8.1 with an hourglass-like shape and three interchangeable rear covers made of leather. The Nokia Lumia 1030 has a 4.7-inch touch screen with ClearBlack 2 Technology, PureMotion HD+ and Gorilla Glass 3.

Additional features and specs on the Nokia Lumia 1030 concept phone includes a 1.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, 2GB of RAM, 2600mAh battery and the 41MP PureView camera with Carl Zeiss optics, Xenon flash and LED flash. There is also a 2.1MP front-facing camera, 64GB internal storage capacity and 100GB SkyDrive storage.

On the other hand, Neowin.com made a phablet concept with the Nokia Lumia 1080 Windows Phone 8.1 device. Neowin's Nokia Lumia 1080 concept features a stylus and handwriting input in the 5.5-inch Super AMOLED screen with Full HD resolution, Gorilla Glass 3 screen protection, 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, Adreno 330 GPU, 2GB of RAM and 3200mAh battery.

The concept phablet is available with 32GB and 64GB internal storage capacities, 7GB of Cloud storage, 16MP rear PureView camera with dual LED flash and 1080p 60fps video recording capability as well as the 2.2MP front-facing camera. A fingerprint scanner is located at the device's back on it polycarbonate body.

With the Windows Phone 8.1, the Nokia Lumia 1080 concept comes with superior display on Live Tile. Users will be offered a wider range of customization when it comes to personalizing the Nokia phablet.

The Nokia Lumia 1080 screen size can display up to 6 tiles across the device's Start screen which can be broken down as well into sections to allow the users easily find the content and apps they want. Furthermore, the Neowin Nokia Lumia 1080 Windows Phone 8.1 concept brings in the new Notifications Hub where events will be registered as they occur.
