Nokia Lumia 925 vs. Sony Xperia Z1: Battle on Low-Light Camera Feature
The competition between Nokia and Sony increases with the latest Sony Xperia Z1 Android smartphone sporting the aluminum chassis comparable to the Nokia Lumia 925 and boasting as well with the camera's low-lighting feature. Unleashthephones' Alvin Wong checked out both smartphones and conducted a highly detailed photoshoot to compare the results of captured images.
Nokia created the slim Nokia Lumia 925 Windows Phone 8 handset that can offer the owners with an impressive photography experience particularly in low-lighting conditions. The Nokia Lumia 925 has an 8.7MP camera with PureView technology, Carl Zeiss lens and Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) feature.

The Sony Xperia Z1, on the other hand, has its signature body design of sharp edges and rectangular frame. The Sony cameraphone boasts of 20.7MP Exmore RS sensor, Sony's G Lens and BIONZ mobile image processing with Superior Auto and SteadyShot features as well as the Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS).

In terms of screen display, the Sony Xperia Z1 features a 5-inch TFT screen with 1920x1080p display resolution. The Triluminous Display technology plus the X-Reality Engine makes the Xperia Z1 a top quality smartphone that offers rich and vibrantly detailed images.
The Nokia Lumia 925 has a 4.5-inch AMOLED screen display with 1280x768p resolution. The Pure Motion HD and Clear Black technology makes the Windows Phone handset competitive as the features make the screen clearer and sharper in displaying bright images.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor powers up the Sony Xperia Z1 with the quad-core 2.2GHz Krait 400 processor, 2GB of RAM and Adreno 330 GPU while the Finnish smartphone manufacturer incorporated 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with 1GB of RAM and Adreno 225 GPU. Despite being less powerful compared to the rival device Sony Xperia Z1, the Nokia Lumia 925 does not have any difficulty in running the Windows Phone 8 operating system and its applications.
In terms of internal storage capacity, the Sony Xperia Z1 has 16GB of built-in memory that can be expanded up to 64GB through the available microSD card slot. Nokia offers the Lumia 925 with an internal storage capacity of 16GB without the microSD card slot for memory storage expansion.
