'Orange Is The New Black': Holy Candles, Tagline 'The Third Coming' In New Season 3 Poster, Season 4 Update
Netflix has released the new poster of “Orange is the New Black” Season 3, which is scheduled to premiere on June 12. The poster features the faces of Daya (Dascha Polanco), Alex Vause (Laura Prepon), Piper Chapman (Taylor Schilling), Crazy Eyes (Uzo Aduba) and Red (Kate Mulgrew). The tagline on this poster is “The Third Coming,” which probably is suggesting the theme of Season 3 -- “Fath.”
[Check the Poster Here] The four colourful inmates can be seen on the "saint" candles. The poster is probably alluding to each of the four characters moments in life. The pregnant Daya’s candle contains a baby bottle, a prosthetic leg, a pack of gum and more. According to Entertainment Weekly’s report, Alex’s candle features money while Piper’s candle contains a number of items, including screwdriver, a flashlight and a diploma. Crazy Eyes’ candle has a blank book, a broom and there are two theatrical masks. A chicken is seen inside Red’s candle. The items in each candle has a story to tell from the past.
Meanwhile, the new season will see Daya becoming a mother, according to spoiler reports. Alex is returning to Litchfield prison thanks to her on and off lover Piper. When Alex is going to find out that Piper is the reason why she is back in the prison, fireworks are expected. The first trailer of Season 3 revealed that Crazy Eyes has written porn. With Vee not returning, not even as a ghost, it is expected that Red may get to rule her roost once again.
